This film presents an eminent physicist, Wu Jian Xiong, Marie Curie's Chinese counterpart. Based on Wu Jian Xiong's childhood, this story traces her illustrated journey.

The film uses traditional Chinese hand-drawn 2D animation, CG animation and 3D production, as well as combining traditional Chinese watercolour and figure painting with a comic style.
