Getting around Annecy

Mifa/Festival Shuttles

A continuous free shuttle service is available for delegates to travel between the Festival welcome area at François de Menthon square (next to the Décavision multiplex), Chambre de Métiers (conferences) and the Mifa, at L'Impérial Palace, from Monday 10^th to Saturday 15^th June, from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm. Shuttle stops are clearly marked by special signs.

Lake shuttle

Delegates staying round the lake can take our free buses (on presentation of accreditation badge).

• Line A
  Talloires/Annecy: from 8:00 to 9:30 am (4 departures)
  Annecy/Talloires: from 8:00 pm to 1:30 am (5 departures)
• Line B
  Duingt/Annecy: from 8:00 to 9:30 am (4 departures)
  Annecy/Duingt: from 8:00 pm to 1:30 am (5 departures)
• 11:00 pm: and there's still the free shuttle that serves hotels situated around the lake, from Monday 10th to Saturday 15th June.
  Tours the lake, direction Sevrier, Duingt, Menthon-Saint-Bernard, Veyrier-du-Lac.
  Stops in each village and by request at the different hotels.
• 00:45 am: departs to the Institut Rural – 70 chemin du Périmètre – Annecy-le-Vieux.

Check the schedules of these shuttles and those providing services after the films at 10:00 pm (La Turbine, MJC Novel).(available in 2013)

For all other requests, there is also a bus service (not free).
Timetables will be available from the Festival welcome area at François de Menthon square (next to the Décavision multiplex) and the Mifa at L'Impérial Palace.

Using Annecy public transport to get around during the Festival.

7-day pass, unlimited use on the Sibra bus network.
A 50% discount on the 7-day pass for volunteers and festivalgoers (7 EUR instead of 14 EUR).
