  Open Day: Les Papeteries meet the public 

400 people turned out to visit the site of the Papeteries ‒ Image Factory on 15th November.

The Open Day notched up a great success, giving visitors not only the chance to take a look at the famous building in Cran-Gevrier, but also to see how the work is progressing and find out more about the reasons behind creating such a location.Designed to receive companies working in moving images and creative industries, the building will be bringing together between 200 and 300 jobs.

Visitors were able to meet architect Sébastien Feyeux, Cran-Gevrier's Mayor Jean Boutry, his Chief of Staff Thierry Mestre, along with Denis Duvernay CEO of Teractem, the company in charge of the construction and development of the site.

Yannick Heude, CITIA's new recruit in charge of the economic promotion of the Image Factory was also in attendance. If you would like more info about setting up at the Papeteries, don't hesitate to contact him.

Connecting the past with the future and highlighting the evolution from paper to moving images, Les Papeteries ‒ Image Factory's significance will be to revitalise the professional and social life of the town and the territory as the unifying space for the sector, as well as boost Annecy's bid for the French Tech label, the government initiated project to mobilise territories in favour of the growth and expansion of the French digital economy.

  • delivery date: spring 2015
  • 43 % of available space already reserved
  • a building of 7,000 m²
  • 4,500 m² of business premises for sale or to rent
  • 600 m² given over to a business park
  • a resource centre of 180 m² made up of an auditorium and a meeting-conference room
  • a café-restaurant of 200 m² with terrace
  • 28 furnished studios to accommodate temporary workers
  • a central space of 700 m² for events
  • 150 underground parking spaces
