Les Rendez-vous franco-thaï de l'animation

19th Oct 2016

  French-Thai Animation Appointments

Following the death of Thailand’s king Bhumibol Adulyadej, the World Film Festival of Bangkok’s workshop has been postponed until the 23rd to 27th January 2017.

The Mifa is teaming up with the World Film Festival of Bangkok with its Animation du Monde Pitches for the French-Thai Animation Appointments.

For the first time, the French Embassy in Thailand is working alongside the Annecy Festival and Market by organising a development programme for animation projects.

A Call for Projects for animated short films was recently launched all over Thailand. The International Animation Film Market will select 5 submissions and the project creators will be invited to take part in a 5-day workshop, from 23rd to 27th January 2017 during the World Film Festival of Bangkok.

At the end of the workshop, they will be guided by animation professionals for another three months before taking part in a Pitch session at the beginning of April to find a winner, who will be invited to the Mifa Animation du Monde Pitch session next June.

Download the pdf info to submit your animated short film project to the French-Thai Animation Appointments and sign up by mail to French Thai Animation and Géraldine Baché, before 15th October 2016.
