Animation: the most exported film genre

35,3 M€ is the figure that represents international sales of French audiovisual programmes.

Although there was a general increase in export figures for all genres in 2011, animation has the giant share with 32 % of sales.

The export statistics are published by the Centre national du cinéma et de l'image animée (CNC) and TV France International.
