Every year, over 420 journalists attend the Annecy Festival and the Mifa, and contribute to the event and animation industry’s international standing. Annecy is the place-to-be to discover the latest animated creation and meet all the talents behind them.

Mifa Conferences

From pre-production to distribution, the production process to funding for short films, TV series, feature films or XR productions, the Annecy Conferences are a real laboratory of ideas.

Talent Panels

The Talent Panels is the new name for the Mifa Campus events programme. It will take place at the Campus Mifa site, the venue especially for students and young professionals.

Students, professionals starting out in the industry and experts, be there to complement your knowledge in training, recruitment or the creation process.

Mifa Pitches

Each year, the Mifa Pitches aim to showcase the best original animation film projects in development. Initially in 4 categories — Feature Films, Short Films, TV Series & Specials and Digital Experiences — the Pitches are becoming more elaborate every year.

These Pitch sessions are a privileged time to discover the universes and sensitivities in their own right, which reflect young international creativity.

Submissions for the 2024 Mifa Pitches are closed.

Three formulas are available:
