With more than 8,250 badgeholders (a 16% rise compared to 2014), 83 countries represented, around 500 films screened, a Market which broke its own records (2,680 badgeholders, a 10% rise), the 2015 Event was bigger than ever, with animation from France and around the world, in the place of honour.

The Honorary Cristal was awarded to Florence Miailhe.

The new prize Mifa & Variety's Animation Personality of the year, created in order to award a person who has contributed to the animation industry's evolution, was given to Chris Meledandri, founder and CEO of Illumination Entertainment.

Keynote speeches from Genndy Tartakovsky, Chris Meledandri and one about The Future of Animation: Combining Viewpoints, with Françoise Guyonnet, Jinko Gotoh and Lisa Henson, gave the audience the chance to hear from these creators in person and to ask them questions.

Press conferences with France Télévisions (leading partner in animation), Lagardère Active, Tfou, CANAL+ FAMILY (Festival official partner), Ankama and Arte were a huge success.
