Mifa Pitches Presentation

Each year, the Mifa Pitches aim to showcase the best original animation film projects in development. Initially in 4 categories — Feature Films, Short Films, TV Series & Specials and Digital Experiences — the Pitches are becoming more elaborate every year.

These Pitch sessions are a privileged time to discover the universes and sensitivities in their own right, which reflect young international creativity.

Each year, almost 500 project leaders from across the world apply to the Mifa Pitches with the aim of presenting their project to a professional audience at Annecy who are searching for original content.
A tough selection process in all the categories usually gives about 40 projects their opportunity. You can see them each year at the Mifa during the 4 Pitch sessions, specific to each format.
