Moviegoer or amateur, local general public, on your own or with family, friends or colleagues, learn about animation and discover all the treasures it conceals during the Annecy International Animation Film Festival.
Two accreditation formulas designed especially for the general public are available: one intended for Haute-Savoie residents who are in Annecy during the event, and one for online access to animated content. Single admission tickets will also give you access to screenings, in specific theatres. Lastly, events that are free and open to everyone are organised throughout the Festival.

The Annecy Festival, a friendly event and open to everyone, organises free events accessible to the general public. Discover animation with open-air screenings, exhibitions, signing sessions and Festival extras.
There are Annecy s’anime screenings that also have priority reservation for the general public to attend film previews during the Festival. They are programmed at the Pathé and Les Nemours, access these screenings with your accreditation badge, or tickets are on sale on-site or online, directly at the film theatres.
Animation will also be travelling around the four corners of the department with a Departmental Tour. 3 films from the Official Selection will be broadcast in several cinemas on the Haute-Savoie Art et Essai network. Check out the programme!
Enjoy some of the award-winning films from this edition. Go to L’Auditorium Seynod, Tuesday 22nd June at 6:00 pm and at 8:30 pm, and at the Cinéma Novel Saturday 26th June at 6:00 pm and at 8:30 pm.
From Saturday 12th to Saturday 19th June open daily from 1:30 pm in the middle of the Haras d’Annecy, discover the Village du Festival and its programming for the general public: open-air screenings starting Sunday 13th June, an exhibition on the Festival’s 60th anniversary, XploR Zone (dedicated to VR and video games), signing sessions, bars, catering areas and entertainment. A free area where children of all ages can play, discover and dream in animation!
So that everyone can enjoy animation, to watch one or several screenings, specific theatres are offering ticket sales to be able to discover the Festival programme.
Go down to the following film theatres: La Turbine, L’Auditorium Seynod, Cinéma Novel, Les Nemours.
Single admission tickets are on sale 30 mins before the screening starts at the theatre ticket desks (there are no ticket sales at the Bonlieu, Pathé Annecy and Pierre Lamy theatres).
Full price: €6.50, Reduced price: €4.50, allowed on presentation of proof for under 18-year-olds, students and unemployed.
