A quiet family: he sits with his slippers on, comfortably slumped in an armchair in front of the gramophone while she is a hen, a plump housewife scurrying around doing the cooking. The two of them are joined by a little creature, a cross between a dog, caterpillar and human being. A strange person enters their apartment.
