A woman, nine months pregnant, happily awaits the birth of her child. A ripe pear. The plump fruit slips from her grasp, landing beside the fruit bowl and a pair of agressive pointing scissors... an ominous still life. Sensing the danger the world holds for her unborn child, the woman wanders the city holding her camera, expressing and transforming her anxiety through photographic images.
