A little boy gets a cold on a rainy day. He doesn't like the taste of his medicine, so he refuses to take it and hides it in a little box under his pillow. Then, he gets worse and worse and his fever makes him dream. He meets a strange man in a green landscape who is both a picture of death and a representation of his own freedom.
