    Diane Obomsawin is a comic book artist and animator from Quebec with Abanaki roots. Also known as "Obom", her first comics were published by L'Oie de Cravan in the late 90s. In 1992, she made her debut film, which put her on the scene and launched her prolific career. Obom is known for her unique naive and minimalist style and her characters with animal heads. Out of her seven other collaborations with the NFB, one short and two commissioned films have been selected at the Annecy Festival.
