A young man ventures forth from his home for the first time on his 21st birthday and finds himself in the Land of Enchantment. There he plays chess with the mysterious Green Man of Knowledge and completes three challenges to win the hand of his youngest daughter. Together the couple try to escape in a thrilling chase with a surprising conclusion.
