  Born in Brazil in 1971, Sávio Leite got his BA in Social Communications at Newton Paiva University where he specialised in Public Relations in 1993. He later went back to the books, earning his Master's in Visual Arts in 2007 from the Federal University of Minas Gerais. His short film "Earth" was featured in the Official Selection at Annecy 2009. Sávio has been a professor of Animation Cinema at UNA University Centre since 2010.
