Julie Rembauville was born in 1982 and studied Literature and Broadcasting at the Sorbonne. In 2003 she published her first children's book "Je ne me laisserai pas faire!", which was illustrated by Nicolas Bianco-Levrin. Their collaboration continued with shorts such as "Elsewhere" (2008) and series like "Kroak" (in competition at Annecy 2009). In 2010, her short film project "It's a Dog's Life" won the SACD and CANAL+/Folimage/NFB Prizes at the Mifa Pitch sessions.
