Annecy 2012

Over 7,000 visitors were present to take part in the success of this year’s event.

Festival (from 4th to 9th June 2012)

There were 223 films in the official selection for the juries to choose the winning films from!

The Between Frames programme gave festival-goers the chance to discover Making of sessions, talk with directors of short films and features in competition, and find out what goes on behind the scenes of films in production with the Work in Progress.

The open-air screenings included such films as Despicable Me, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (Disney) and A Monster in Paris.

International Animation Film Market (from 6th to 8th June 2012)

The Mifa had a rich programme this year, which gathered together 2,500 accredited delegates and 470 exhibiting companies, while some new ideas and spaces also gave the event added momentum. Check them out:

Thanks to 393 people including 33 full-time staff members, 76 part-time, 40 trainees and 244 voluntees that the Festival and Market were a resounding success!
