Follow the rollicking adventures of Lupin III in the mysterious princedom of Cagliostro!

If the studio Ghibli’s now cult movies – from My Neighbor Totoro to Princess Mononoke through Spirited Away – no longer hold any secrets for you, maybe you aren't yet familiar with their creator's, Hayao Miyazaki, very first feature film...

Released in Japanese cinemas in 1979 – and forty years later in France! –, The Castle of Cagliostro features Arsène Lupine’s grandson, Lupine III, also known as Edgar the Gentleman Thief. While the latter escapes from one of Monte Carlo’s casinos with plenty of booty, he then realizes it’s only a pile of counterfeit money. Deeply disappointed with his mistake, and very disgruntled against the perpetrator, he decides to conduct a little investigation. So off he goes to the beautiful princedom of Cagliostro in the tracks of his corrupt Count, where some surprising encounters and mysterious stories await him.

A work heralding the full extent of Miyazaki's talent, for you to discover, or rediscover, on the big screen!
