    Directed by: Sylvain CHOMET

    Sylvain Chomet is a graduate of l'École supérieure de l'image and published the "Le Secret des Libellules" comic book (Futuropolis) before launching himself in animation in London. He then oversaw a Montpellier graphic art studio with Hubert Chevillard, Nicolas de Crécy, Éric Larnoy and Corcal before writing the screenplay for both "Le Pont dans la vase" (Glénat) and "Léon la carne" (Casterman). While in Quebec, he directed with de Crécy the short "The Old Lady and the Pigeons" which earned them the Annecy Grand Prix for best short film in 1997 and an Oscar nomination. In 2003, he directed his first animated feature "The Triplets of Belleville". His second feature, "The Illusionist" (2010) is an adaptation of a story by Jacques Tati.
