Masterclass with Michèle Lemieux
Michèle Lemieux will present the exceptional technique of the pinscreen invented by Alexandre Alexeieff and Claire Parker, in the grande salle of the Musée-Château.
As part of the Alexeieff/Parker, Shadow Tamers exhibition, the Canadian artist Michèle Lemieux will host a masterclass about the pinscreen.
She has become the successor to the process, and will be presenting the Épinette, the last pinscreen built by the couple. Their disciple, Jacques Drouin, will also be on hand, and through their presentations and explanations, attendees will receive an initiation into this animation technique, and discover the treasure left by Alexandre Alexeieff and Claire Parker.
