'Once Upon a Time… Life': Behind the Scenes of a Hit

  1. Overview
  2. Description

Go beyond the screen of a generation’s favourite series with the Bonlieu media library’s exhibition entitled "Once Upon a Time… Life": Behind the Scenes of a Hit.

The beloved animation series Once Upon a Time… Life made its big comeback last year, thirty years after it was first broadcast on CANAL+.

Produced in 1987, an entire generation grew up with the famous Maestro, his loyal companions and the majestic music of Michel Legrand. The edutainment series won over children and parents alike with twenty-six episodes exploring how the human body functions.

Created, written and directed by Albert Barillé, "Once Upon a Time… Life" was broadcast on CANAL+, FR3, rebroadcast more recently on Gulli and finally on France 4, playing from Monday through Thursday at 7:00 pm and on weekends at 11:45 am.

Totally restored, the characters have had an HD makeover thanks to the meticulous work done by the production company Procidis, offering a new generation the chance to discover the venerated programme of their elders.

The Bonlieu media library has decided to present the exhibition "Once Upon a Time… Life": Behind the Scenes of a Hit for the occasion, giving long-time fans the possibility to get back into the series and giving youngsters the opportunity to fall under the spell of this timeless classic.
