Charlie Kaufman is the man who has created some of the craziest storylines since the start of the millenium. He was responsible for both Being John Malkovich and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind! Co-directed with Duke Johnston, Anomalisa received the Grand Jury Prize at the Venice Film Festival (2015).

The film tells the story of Michael Stone, a husband, father and respected author of How May I Help You Help Them?. However, he is a man who feels held back by the ordinariness of his life. While on a business trip to Cincinnati, where he must take part in a conference with professionals from customer service departments, he spots a way of escaping his despair when he meets Lisa, a bakery representative, who may or may not be the love of his life...
