France Télévisions is holding a sound creation workshop that is aimed at youngsters from the age of 8 to 12 years old for an animated film that will be screened in the open air in the courtyard of the Château d'Annecy.
How do we create sound in animated films? Everything must be invented anew, and in particular the audience must believe in it.
With the help of two musicians, the children will create a soundtrack together (sound effects and voices) for an episode in the En sortant de l'école series that centres around the Le Cancre collection of works by Prévert.
The children's work will be broadcast the following evening at 10:00 pm in the courtyard of the Château d'Annecy during the "En sortant de l'école" concert film. This is a free screening that is open to everyone.
This workshop, which has been organised at the initiative of France Télévisions, will take place at La Turbine in Cran Gevrier. Children aged between 8 and 12 years old can attend the workshop provided that they are accompanied by an adult. A limited number of places are available.
