In the French trenches, 1918. André Musil deserts to search for his twin sister, a dancer at Ballets Russes in Paris, who is rehearsing Nijinsky's "The Afternoon of a Faun". She vanished after crossing paths with a man named Lucien Guillet, aka Landru.
