Animating "Crow: The Legend" to Life in both VR and Traditional Film
As this year's winner of 4 Emmy Awards and the first-ever Annie Award for Best VR, Crow: The Legend is an age-old Native American tale brought to life by Baobab Studios as an interactive VR narrative and a traditional cinematic 2D film.
Writer/Director Eric Darnell, VFX Supervisor Larry Cutler, and Producer Kane Lee present the tools, production processes and creative techniques used to push the boundaries of animation quality, interactivity, and storytelling across multiple mediums.
Crow: The Legend features an all-star cast including John Legend, Oprah Winfrey, Constance Wu, Diego Luna, Tye Sheridan and Liza Koshy.
