    After studying at Ensad, where he made the short "Journal" (1999), Sébastien Laudenbach then directed "Des câlins dans les cuisines" (2004). He later worked on poster designs and credit sequences for Emmanuel Mouret's films, before returning to animated short film making with "Regarder Oana", selected at Annecy 2009, "Vasco", included at the Semaine de la critique at Cannes 2010, and "Daphné ou la Belle Plante", co-directed with Sylvain Derosne.
