Mifa Campus

Mifa Campus

Tuesday 11th June 2019

Students, professionals starting out in the industry and experts, take part in the Mifa Campus to meet up around topics connected to training, the creation process and recruitment.

Richard Williams will be the patron of the second Mifa Campus. He follows in the footsteps of Guillermo del Toro, the patron of the inaugural Mifa Campus in 2017.

Richard Williams is delighted to be the patron of the 2018 Mifa Campus, and he has personally addressed a message to you ahead of the meeting on Tuesday 12th June at the Annecy Festival.

In order to respond to the demands of students, industry professionals from emerging territories in animation and experts, the Mifa created the Mifa Campus in 2017.

Over a day’s visit, attendees are invited to take part in different sessions focused on developing knowledge of the animation industry and facilitating meetings with its inspiring artists.

Three types of events make up the day’s programme:

  • Workshops: an additional training session for students and young professionals with topics to help them as they start out in the animation industry.
  • Initiatives and schemes: talking about new residence schemes, talent incubators and other far-reaching initiatives.
  • Chat With: animation studios will be opening their doors to talk about where they work, employment possibilities and who they’re looking for.
