Screenings
Between 2013 and today, the short has been screened at the cinema, on TV and planes, and in over 80 festivals around the world. It was also shortlisted for the French César awards in 2014.

What's happening with the project at the moment?
"Beach Flags is part of the Lunafest touring festival in the States http://www.lunafest.org/, and will be screened in over 175 cities."

The film was shown on Arte France. Theatrical release through Les Films du Préau ("Le Mulot Menteur" young audience programme).

Sophie Roze has also created a DVD book L'Oiseau-cachalot and is currently working as an illustrator for children's books.

Monstre sacré was shown at around sixty festivals and bought by a number of TV channels. It will be screened in theatres as part of a programme from Cinéma public films.

Jean-Claude Rozec is an animator, set designer and storyboarder. He is currently working on a new animation projects.

The Silence Beneath the Bark

Joanna Lurie, project The Silence Beneath the Bark, Call for Projects winner in 2007 (France).

"Producers, TV channels and film directors all attended the project presentation... The Call for Projects literally launched my film!
Having the Annecy Festival as a reference in my paperwork added a lot of weight for the research for grants on the part of all those who invested in the film, especially as the project was rather poetic and not easy to defend.
Once the film was finished, it was selected at around sixty festivals in 2010, including Annecy, Clermont-Ferrand, Toronto, and the short list for the Oscars. It was released nationally with Les Films du préau and has won 8 prizes. Keep the Call for Projects going as they are a great springboard!"

Izù Troin, project The Wordcutter, Call for Projects winner 2006, production completed in 2009 (France).

Prizes:

The film has been in competition in a number of festivals, including the Annecy International Animation Festival, I Castelli Animati Festival in Italy, the Anima Festival in Brussels, the Bruz National Animation Festival, the Film court francophone Festival of Vaulx-en-Velin, the Tous courts Festival, of Aix-en-Provence.

Izù Troin is currently working as a compositor with the Folimage studio.

Delphine Hermans, project The Yellow Envelope, jury prize, Call for Projects 2006 (France).

"This prize added weight to the project when I asked for a grant from the film commission of the Communauté française de Belgique.
Getting the jury prize was a great helping hand to get the production of the film off the ground that was finally finished in 2008."

Screenings
The TV series was screened in 2013, 2014 and 2015 on the public channel Señal Colombia and the next season will be shown in 2016. The international episodes were sold in Argentina.
The website has been online since 2013 (www.cuentosdeviejos.com) and the mobile app is to be launched in 2016.

What's happening with the project at the moment?
"After 3 seasons of the series, we're about to sign with the Columbian public library network for the project to go into high schools. And after signing a cooperation agreement with UntrefMedia (Argentina), the app will be launched in 2016. The next step will be to produce a special season with episodes created by 12 well known animation artists from different countries. We're looking for funds for this project at the moment."

A final word about the Mifa Pitches
"We presented the project for the first time at the Mifa Pitches in 2012, which is very significant in its whole history. It was the first time we got feedback from international media experts and the help we received before, during and after the event from the Mifa team has been very important."
