'The Boy and the World' in Haute-Savoie
Make the most of the All Saints holiday period in France to take your kids to a screening of 'The Boy and the World' in and around the department.
As part of the Fête du cinéma d’animation celebrations, the Haute-Savoie General Council, in partnership with CITIA, is inviting you to come along and discover The Boy and the World (from 7 yrs).
Directed by Alê Abreu, the film has won prizes including the Cristal for beast feature and the Audience Award at this year's Festival.
The Boy and the World tells the story of a young boy who leaves his village to go in search of his father and on the way discovers a fantastic world dominated by animal-machines and strange beings. A dreamlike lyrical journey brilliantly illustrating the problems of our modern world.
