The Short Film Festival of Madagascar
The Short Film Festival of Madagascar is opening up on an international scale for its 10th event.
The Short Film Festival of Madagascar will be celebrating its 10th edition from 17th to 25th April 2015. To mark the occasion, the Short Film Festival association, the French Institute of Madagascar and Rozifilms are organising the first Panafrican animated short film competition, open to all filmmakers in Africa and the Indian Ocean. The winner will be awarded with the gold Panafrican Zebu in Antananarivo.
Over the past ten years the Short Film Festival has been contributing to the development of Malagasy cinema, highlighting the vitality and creativity of its filmmakers, whose work is often included in major international festivals.
The Annecy Festival is once again supporting this event as partner for the Short Film Festival and this new Panafrican competition.
Animators from Africa and the Indian Ocean should submit their animated films before Friday 30th January. Rules and regulations and submission info can be found on the website
