Oscar 2015 Nominations
The animated films nominated for the Oscars 2015 have been revealed and most of them were presented or screened in Annecy.
In the animated short film category, the majority of nominees were shown at Annecy:
- The Bigger Picture: Cristal for a Graduation Film, Annecy 2014
- The Dam Keeper: Official selection, Annecy 2014
- Feast: world premiere, Annecy 2014
- Me and My Moulton: in competition, Annecy 2014
In the Animated feature category, all the nominees were at Annecy:
- Big Hero 6: first footage shown at Annecy 2014
- The Boxtrolls: presented by Studio LAIKA during a Production Organisation conference and sneak peek teaser shown on the giant screen in 2014
- How to Train Your Dragon 2: presented in a Work in Progress session in 2013 and shown in a Screening Event in 2014
- Song of the Sea: presented in a Work in Progress session and during a Production Organisation conference in 2014
- The Tale of the Princess Kaguya: sneak preview screening at the opening ceremony of Annecy 2014
