29th Jan 2016

  Cinémino for the Kids

Give the kids a treat with Cinémino, a film event especially for the little ones, from 31st January to 8th March.

The 15th Cinémino, based on an idea by the MJC Novel, the Turbine in Cran-Gevrier, the Auditorium in Seynod, the Parnal in Thorens-Glières and Écran mobile, will take place from 31st January to 8th March 2016.

Each year, a number of movie theatres in Haute-Savoie, Savoie and Ain associate with the event to present a young public some great films that allow them to dream, grow and broaden their minds.

The best in animated film is screened over the six weeks, along with visits from guests, presentations, creative workshops, games, snacks and exhibitions.

This year, CITIA will also be taking part for the first time as a partner with CITIA fait son Cinémino, and presenting two short films screened in competition: Wind and Cycloid.

The Cinémino programme includes:

  • the screening of Phantom Boy (Official Selection, Annecy 2015), with Alain Gagnol and Jean-Loup Felicioli in attendance, and an exhibition at the Turbine;
  • the screening of Long Way North (Audience Award, Annecy 2015), with Rémi Chayé;
  • the screening of April and the Extraordinary World (Cristal for Best Feature, Annecy 2015), with Benjamin Cocquenet in attendance, and an exhibition at the Turbine.
