4 Territories Taking the Stage
Discover 4 different territories in one place: The Mifa! Tokyo, Canada, Flanders and France will be the subjects of this year’s Territory Focus sessions.
Four Territory Focus sessions will take place at the upcoming International Animation Film Market.
Flanders will get the ball rolling, this region in central Europe harbors talented creatives and studios that collaborate just as well on international co-productions as local projects.
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government is coming for the first time to show its representatives’ animation work at the Mifa. They’ll also give participants information about co-production, distribution and licensing opportunities in Japan.
A Focus on France has been organised through the intermediary of a presentation by Film France, who’s responsible for promoting post production and films being shot in France.
Finishing things up is Canada, who thanks to its award-winning productions around the globe, has established itself as one of the world’s top co-production choices. Canadian filmmakers will be coming to present their own creations as well.
