Media professional and former President of France Télévisions, Rémi Pflimlin passed away on 3rd December following an illness.
Rémi Pflimlin passed away on Saturday 3rd December; he was 62 years old.
After managing France 3 from 1999 to 2005, he took over the direction of France Télévisions from 2010 to 2015. It was in this capacity that the Film Market welcomed him in 2011 for France Télévisions’ customary press conference to present the channels editorial policy and line-up of productions.
Apart from his work in the media, Rémi Pflimfin had also been a permanent member of the literary prize jury since 2011 and was also named president of the prix Italia in September 2012.
