Work in Progress with 'Zero Impunity'

Meet the creators of "Zero Impunity", a compelling transmedia project.

Along with the Work in Progress session on the animated documentary Zero Impunity, the Festival invites you to meet the project’s creators.

Conceived by Nicolas Blies, his brother Stéphane Hueber-Blies and Marion Guth, Zero Impunity is presented as "a transmedia project of investigation and activism to end impunity for sexual violence in armed conflicts". By infiltrating the heart of the system, its power plays and judicial loopholes, Zero Impunity sheds light on hushed-up scandals and reveals why such acts are so rarely punished by the law.

In response to the enthusiasm generated by this courageous project, an animated documentary is being made for September 2017. Through the prism of animation, Zero Impunity gives these victims of sexual violence the chance to speak out, while broadening the debate about the challenges of a rigid international justice system.

With Nicolas Blies and Stéphane Hueber-Blies, the key actors in the movement coming to this Work in Progress, there should be plenty of passionate and engaging conversations around this social issue that has stayed under the radar for far too long.
