"Raise the Red Lantern": An Arte Exclusive
Arte is giving you an exclusive invitation to watch "Raise the Red Lantern", the channel’s latest "Short Cuts" show.
The "Short Cuts" on Arte Court-circuit is a collection of animated shorts created by various filmmakers giving a summarized interpretation of cinema classics.
Arte is presenting an exclusive look at Zhang Yimou’s Raise the Red Lantern, adapted into animation by Hefang Wei in collaboration with Izù Troin. This choice is also a great way to echo China as Annecy 2017’s guest country.
Throughout Festival week, you will also have the chance to see these "Short Cuts" from Arte Court-circuit on the big screen as they will be shown before the Annecy Classics programmes.
