Ugo Bienvenu and Kevin Manach Present Ant-Man
Participate in the WIP TV about the Ant-Man series with the young and talented French animating duo.
With the Ant-Man series currently in production, the Annecy Festival invites you to take part in a Work in Progress TV session with the directors Ugo Bienvenu and Kevin Manach on Friday 16th June at 2:00 pm.
Adept at putting their heads together, this duo, who the Festival called upon to create this year’s poster, may not be attached at the hip but they’ve done some pretty amazing work together. Hailing from GOBELINS, l'école de l'image, Ugo Bienvenu and Kevin Manach have since established themselves on the audiovisual scene. In addition to highly praised music videos for the electropop band Jabberwocky (Lunar Lane, Fog and Holding Up), the two creatives have used their recognisable style to make some very promising shorts such as Une île, Vésuves and Maman. Boosted by the enthusiastic reception their work has received, Ugo Bienvenu and Kevin Manach are currently working on their first feature, Domenica, which is in development at Miyu Productions.
Now firmly grounded in the industry, the French duo has recently been approached by Marvel Animation to direct the TV adaptation of the famous hero Ant-Man. The series follows the adventures of Scott Lang, aka Ant-Man, whose job it is to protect the world from an assortment of criminals and evasions from miniature aliens, along with The Wasp and Hank Pym.
