Conférence : Réalité virtuelle en production / Virtual Reality in Production

  Virtual Reality in Production

Check out the video of the ‘Virtual Reality in Production’ conference held during the Annecy 2017 Meetings.

At the most recent International Animated Film Festival virtual reality was the subject of choice for a conference within the Meetings sessions. Jérôme Mouscadet, Quentin Auger and Jean-François Ramos, respectively director, technical director and line producer at Studio 100 Animation, led a lively discussion on this technique.

They focused more specifically on the production phase of projects, discussing how virtual reality tools can fit into a traditional linear production pipeline and how these tools may modify the design and drafting of a storyboard. All these questions need to be raised to determine whether the innovations engendered by virtual reality may eventually become the norms of the future.

This Annecy Festival conference was moderated by Marie-Pierre Journet and filmed and edited by Canopé.
