  Congratulations to the Singaporean winners!

Animation du Monde continue their pitch sessions and two new winners were chosen in Manilla in the Philippines: Jerrold Chong and Mark Wee.

For the very first time an Animation du Monde workshop was held at the Alliance Française de Manille in the Philippines, 18th to 22nd February 2019. The aim was to go in search of local talented animators, to enable them to present their projects at the Annecy International Animation Film Market in June.

Following a call for projects six were selected to participate in a workshop, followed by a pitch session in front of three experts: Claire Fouquet (author, director), Ron Dyens (producer, Sacrebleu) and Géraldine Baché (Head of Animation Education & Mifa Projects, CITIA).

In the end it was The Art of Charlie Chan Hock Chye, by Jerrold Chong and Mark Wee that was the winning project. The two authors will be invited to present their project during the Animation du Monde Pitches at the Mifa, Annecy in June.

Congratulations to the winners!
