Shoot the Book Anim’, Second Edition!
Shoot the Book Anim’: Meet the Publishers is back at Mifa for the second consecutive year in partnership with the SCELF.
After a very successful first edition at the International Animation Film Market, Shoot the Book Anim’: Meet the Publishers and their pitch sessions return to Annecy 2019!
This initiative was launched in 2014 at the Cannes Festival by the SCELF – Société Civile des Éditeurs de Langue Française – Shoot the Book targets promoting audiovisual adaptation of French editorial works.
Since last year this event is available in an animation film version, where 54 works that were selected for their adaptation potential and evaluated by an international jury. On the basis of this test, 10 of them were chosen to be pitched by their writer to an audience of animation professionals during Mifa.
This opportunity will be renewed on 13th June and is not to be missed!
Shoot the Book is a joint initiative of the SCELF and the French Institute, in Annecy, Cannes, Los Angeles and Shanghai.
