Les Femmes s’Animent asked women in the animation industry across Europe about their lockdown experiences and what they learned.
This Video Conference presents mini interviews interspersed with excerpts of animations produced during confinement. This short presentation features some very beautiful and sometimes quite surprising answers.
Was this period a simple parenthesis, or will it change our lives forever?
In line with LFA’s past actions, and in direct reaction to recent weeks’ international upheavals and growing awareness in the importance of diversity and inclusion, LFA is reinforcing it’s initiatives in favour of inclusion in the animation industry in France. LFA is proud to announce the launch of a talent search and mentoring program focused on animation projects which will provide access to an important professional network for those who do not normally have access to industry leaders and creators.
This innovative program will take place on two continents: France and, in coordination with Annecy’s 2021 focus, also on the African (francophone) continent including a talent search and mentoring programme specifically aimed at emerging female talent.
LFA’s objective is to identify and support talent, helping selected women to definine, nurture and produce animated productions. These projects will be presented during the Annecy 2021 festival.
