Hotel Transylvania 1

Released in 2012, Hotel Transylvania 1 had been presented in a Work in Progress at the Annecy Festival.

Its inclusion on the open-air programme of the 2018 Festival reflects the exceptional screening of the non-finalised version of Hotel Transylvania 3 in its original language with subtitles (French release on 25th July), in the presence of the director Genndy Tartakovsky and the producer Michelle Murdocca.

Synopsis

Dracula personally welcomes you to the five-star Hotel Transylvania complex, where monsters and their families can go about their lives and relax far away from humans. For the 118th birthday of his daughter Mavis, Dracula invites the most famous monsters in the world: Frankenstein and his wife, the Mummy, the Invisible Man, a family of werewolves and many others. Everything is going well until an eccentric tourist shows up at the hotel by accident and makes friends with Mavis.
