    Johannes Weiland studied at Ludwigsburg's Filmakademie where he now teaches. He has worked as a director and animator at Studio Soi in Germany, and with Studio Aka in London. He has won numerous awards in Annecy: "Annie and Boo" (TPS-Teletoon Award for a Graduation Film, 2005), "The Little Boy and the Beast" (Cristal for Best TV Production 2010), and two Best TV Special Awards in a row: "Princess Painting" (2011) and "The Gruffalo's Child" (2012).

    Since graduating from the Film Academy Baden-Württemberg in 2003, Carsten Bunte co-founded Studio Soi with six other animation directors. He worked on several award-winning productions, as scriptwriter and producer for "Olis Chance" (in competition at Annecy 2006) and producer of "The Little Boy and the Beast" (Cristal for a TV Production, Annecy 2010) and "Princess Painting" (Award for Best TV Special, Annecy 2011).
