Guest Country: Spain – Destination Hollywood (and Beyond)
Spanish animation takes pride of place with the From Doodles to Pixels project that looks back at more than 100 years of evolution. Here, you can discover some filmmaker's work from before they joined major studios.
Disney, Pixar, DreamWorks, Aardman… All these studios have taken on Spanish animators. Check out some of their first films in this programme that date back to when these young filmmakers only dreamed about working for a major studio.
From Doodles to Pixels, curated by Carolina López, is a co-production of the Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona CCCB and Acción Cultural Española AC/E.
