An Annecy Festival screening event with the much-awaited adaptation of the Japanese manga "Blame!"

The famous Japanese manga series Blame!, written by Tsutomu Nihei and published in 1998, is finally ready for its cinema outing.

Directed by Hiroyuki Seshita and Tadahiro Yoshihira, Blame! is a dark and fatalistic sci-fi saga about humanity’s struggle for survival in a post-apocalyptic world, where out-of-control machines have taken up residence. We follow the adventures of Killy, a recluse who is wandering around the ghost city of Megastructure on a government mission to find a remedy for the virus that is responsible for all the chaos.

In an unusual dystopian style, Blame! depicts a chilling and inhospitable world in which humans fight for their lives.

Working alongside the directors, Tsutomu Nihei supervised this adaptation of his manga, which is sure to please his fans who will be anxious to discover the artist’s touch.

Blame! is paying a visit to the Annecy Festival for a screening event.
