Principles and usages

"Annecy Festival" represents the entire event (the Festival, Market – Mifa – and Meetings), and uses their signature on all the communication supports for the event.

A sober, modern and cinematographical identity, ranging from the use of elegant, deep, nighttime blue (representing the cinema theatre, and open-air screenings at nightfall) through to a bright and lustrous tone (showing dynamism and discovery).

The Event has 2 periods: during the Festival (ON), and between two editions (OFF): the chart reproduces these periods by proposing 2 moods.

This leaves freedom of expression to the artists and talents that the Festival holds so dear: once the poster is revealed, its creator will take the logo that incorporates the colours, style or elements from the poster, as every edition has before it.

CITIA, as the organiser, will merely "sign" the official poster every year.

Chart use

The Annecy Festival chart is solely reserved for the organisation, associated partners, and selected films, and upon request from winning films.
It provides a myriad of possibilities for adaptations on any promotional or communication support.
Authorised users must strictly respect the application rules that are clearly laid out in the documents.

60th logo

The year 2020 marked the Festival’s 60th anniversary. Postponed for a year, now it will be celebrated, among others, through a logo created especially for this occasion.

It will make it easier to identify the programmes and events linked to this anniversary celebration as part of the Festival.
It may be used in all communications evoking this special programme.
It cannot however be used as a substitute for the official Annecy Festival logo, to represent the Annecy event in its entirety.
