    An internationally acclaimed filmmaker, designer and animator, Igor Kovalyov was born in Kiev, Ukraine, in 1954. In 1991, he joined Klasky Csupo's studio in Hollywood where he worked on animations for Nickelodeon. His independent shorts "Hen, His Wife" (1989), "Andrei Svislotski" (1991), "Bird in the Window" (1996), "Flying Nansen" (2000) and "Milch" (2005) have received too many accolades to count, including 2 Grand Prizes at Ottawa, a nomination at Cannes and a Special Distinction at Annecy.
