Mamie lives in a seaside home on the Gaspé Peninsula. When she receives an expropriation notice, her cloistered world crumbles. Her granddaughter witnesses this uprooting and starts to question the lack of real ties between them.

    Directed by: Janice NADEAU

    Trained in Graphic Design at UQAM, and in Illustration in Strasburg, Janice Nadeau works as an artistic director for various organisations. She has illustrated numerous books and has won the prestigious Governor General's Award three times for her work. Published in 2003, written by Marie-Francine Hébert, "No Fish Where to Go" earned her the first of these three prizes. She adapted it for her first exploit in animation, co-directed by Nicola Lemay, and it won the Fipresci Award at Annecy 2014.
