President Truc and his media advisor Billy Croche are travelling around the world to educate people in a fun and offbeat way about the unknown and often surprising history of national anthems.
Original title: Les Hymnes, la véritable histoire "God Save the Queen"
Directed by: Jean-Jacques LONNI, Thierry CZAJKO
After earning diplomas from the Gobelins in Animation, Graphic and Visual Arts, Jean-Jacques Lonni started directing, animating and doing post production on advertisements, TV spots and institutional films. He created the Digital Salade studio in 2000 and organised an animation training course with around 50 African artists in 2008. In 2010, he supervised the art direction on "Approved for Adoption", which won the Audience Award and Unicef Award at Annecy 2012.
Lead editor and cameraman on documentaries, Thierry Czajko started his career in animation by co-directing "Approved for Adoption", the feature film by Jung Henin and Laurent Boileau. He met Jean-Jacques Lonni on the set and has been developing projects with him ever since. He didn't give up on making documentaries though, he's directed the hybrid film "Le juste équilibre" for the RTBF, "2CV-4L, la Guerre des petites voitures" for France 5, and others.
