Born in Israel, Michelle and Uri Kranot are artists, independent animation filmmakers and they also happen to be married. They're currently based at The Animation Workshop in Viborg, Denmark, where they both teach animation and run the AniDox:Lab - a continuous training project devoted to the making of animated documentaries. Their personal works have won over a hundred international prizes and participated in numerous film festivals and exhibitions. Their film "Hollow Land" was nominated for an Oscar in 2013 and selected out of competition at the Annecy Festival. "Black Tape" was in competition at Annecy 2015 and "How Long, Not Long" took home the FIPRESCI Award at Annecy 2016. Michelle and Uri also work with audiovisual performers and multimedia game studios, creating installations, exhibitions and VR.
